| Four Students Earned PhD Degree |
| June 12th, four group members, Bo Song, Yugui Jiang, Yapei Wang, Senlin Chen got promoted in their PhD defense. During the defense, they presented their work in PhD studies, and were highly appreciated by the Committee members. |

| Bo got his bachelor and master degree in College of Chemistry, Jilin University at 2003 and 2006, respectively. In this summer, he passed the PhD defense and earned the PhD degree in Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua Universty. His dissertation title is “Self-Organization of Bolaamphiphiles: towards Stable Supramolecular Nanostructures”. He will go to the group of Prof. Schönher Holger in Siegen University, Germany for postdoc research under the support of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. |
| Yugui got his bachelor and master degree in College of Chemistry, Jilin University at 2003 and 2006, respectively. In this summer, he passed the PhD defense and earned the PhD degree in Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University. His dissertation title is “Stimuli-Responsive Materials Based on Malachite Green Derivatives”. Currently he is doing his postdoc research in the group of Prof. Luisa de Cola in Münster University, Germany. |
| Yapei got his bachelor degree in College of Chemistry, Jilin University at 2004. In this summer, he passed the PhD defense and earned the PhD degree in Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University. His dissertation title is “Photo-controllable Supramolecular Nanocontainer”. Currently he is doing his postdoc research in the group of Joseph DeSimone in University of North Carolina, USA. |
| Senlin got his bachelor degree in College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Sun Yat-Sen University at 2003. In this summer, he passed the PhD defense and earned the PhD degree in Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University. His dissertation title is “Tuning the Molecular Amphiphilicity and Controllable Self-Assembly”. Now He is a senior engineer of the Sino-Tobacco Industrial Corporation, Guangzhou, China. |
